Safety is a big concern in building communities that are based on trust and we did not forget about this issue.
We did develop a few safety procedures but still, always listen to your instincts and trust your gut feeling!
1 – Every new member will be approved by a human before their profile is online, but you never know. Better safe than sorry!
2 – Paying process: All memberships that were paid have a tick sign on their profile picture. It means that we have their card details.
3 – Reviews: Check all reviews and always leave an honest review, about a host or guest. All reviews will be checked and approved by a human before they appear online.
4 – ALWAYS report a negative experience or any concerns about any member.
EXTRA PRECAUTIONS aka your homework:
- Always let someone know where you are going and have a backup plan.
- Get informed about the culture where you are traveling, be aware of cultural and religious differences.
- Relax but keep your instincts on guard.
